A Multi-Strategy Improved Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm

To improve the performance of arithmetic optimization algorithm (AOA) and solve problems in AOA, a novel improved AOA using multi-strategy approach is proposed. Firstly, circle chaotic mapping used to increase diversity population. Secondly, math optimizer accelerated (MOA) function optimized by means composite cycloid proposed convergence speed algorithm. Meanwhile, symmetry balance global search ability early late iterations. Thirdly, an optimal mutation strategy combining sparrow elite Cauchy disturbances individuals jump out local optimal. The Rastrigin selected as reference test analyze effectiveness strategy. Twenty benchmark functions, time complexity, Wilcoxon rank-sum test, CEC2019 set are overall algorithm, results then compared with those other algorithms. show that has obvious advantages terms both its speed. Finally, applied engineering example further verify practicability.
